Mushroom Tofu Lettuce Wraps

Instructions

  1. Break apart the tofu (1 block) into small pieces and place into a bowl; add salt (2 tsp) and pepper (2 tsp), sesame oil (1 Tbsp), soy sauce (1 Tbsp), and cornstarch (2 tsp).

  2. Mix the tofu well and set aside.

  3. Heat a nonstick pan or skillet on medium heat and add 3 Tbsp neutral oil.

  4. Add in the diced mushrooms (8 oz); sauté until the water evaporates and mushrooms brown.

  5. Add in the tofu and sauté for 5-10 minutes

  6. Add in garlic paste (1 Tbsp) and ginger paste (1 Tbsp) and cook for another 2-3 minutes

  7. Stack two leaves of lettuce and equally divide the mushroom and tofu filling onto each one.

  8. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds. Top with optional sriracha and enjoy!
